This week's episode of Nattering CHEL is a two-man show, as Joe is away, so Torrey and Eric hold down the fort and talk all things hockey. The first is how the officiating may or may not be affecting the merits of the NHL. With controversial calls all over the place, are officials making the NHL less appealing to casual fans? Also as an homage to Graham from Good Cop Bad Cop, Eric takes Torrey down memory lane, as we reminisce about how good Chris Chelios was in his heyday. We also debut a new segment where we focus on the divisions and early playoff picture around the league.

We also look at how to fix the league, from blackouts in regional markets to better goal-line technology, and the possible introduction of a VAR-like fourth official to be on-site to review plays that otherwise would have to go back to the league's head offices.

Nattering BOLA E1: The 2013 PWG Battle Of Los Angeles Best Start Ever?

As two lifelong wrestling fans and pals, Bauerhausen, aka David Bauer, and Eric, aka Nattering With E, take on the task of watching every Pro Wrestling Guerilla Battle of Los Angeles. Starting in 2003, BOLA was one of several tournaments that PWG would run, which pretty much made them the best of the indies from the mid-2000s until they went on hiatus in 2023. For this MONTHLY podcast, the duo will be watching every Battle of Los Angeles from 2013 to 2021.
Many people would say that mid-2000s indie promotions like PWG, Chikara, and, of course, Ring of Honor set the stage for All Elite Wrestling. 
What Is The Battle Of Los Angeles
Set as a 16-person tournament, with the winner getting a PWG World Championship match, we opted to start in 2013 as it coincides with ROH Revelery, one of our favorite podcasts. Also, for some reason, every tournament from 2011 - 2021 is on Highspots, but nothing earlier.
